Whether they are together, or solo, Mark and Rick bring a great deal of Musical and personal experience to the performance venue. Each having their own personal journey and story to share shows with every performance.
Mark Cordova
Originally from Hawaii, Mark grew up in Southern California and has lived in Murrieta, CA since 1994. Mark started playing guitar at an early age but had to stop due to a car accident. From that day on he has dedicated his time learning how to play harmonica. He has learned different styles of music and has played in bands and with individual artists for the past 20+ years. Today, he is performing locally in Southern California in a variety of venues as a solo performer and as a duo called The Scully Boys. “Rick and I bring a unique vibe everywhere we play” he says. “We enjoy all genres of music and will entertain any venue big or small”.
Rick Hildebrandt
Originally from New York State, Rick relocated to Menifee, CA in 2011. His music career started at about the age of 12 as his mother had a guitar in the house. He took guitar lessons for about 6 months and it started a foundation for the love of guitar playing. His first band was in High School and continued to play for most of his adult life from there. Rick’s early influences were the Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd type groups because they were guitar bands and he has evolved over the years playing all types of music. He started using technology and computers in the early 1990’s for performance and has continued using it today. Today, he performs locally as a solo performer, and as a duo, The Scully Boys.
